Easter Nail Art 2012 06/04/2012

I have not shown any nail art in a while – in fact I have not even posted on here. Sorry guys. I have not done much crafting lately and have been pretty busy also.

A year or so ago, I read about how you can transfer letters from newspapers onto your nail by using alcohol. I tried it out back then and it did work. Now with Easter here, I wondered if I can transfer print outs as well. And guess what, it works! It’s not as easy as newspaper and I had to try it at least a dozen times because everything needs to be done with perfect timing or it does not work .. but I finally was able to do it well enough to keep it

Christmas Nail art :) 24/12/2011

For this Christmas, I decided to use stickers/tatoos for a quick and pretty finish on my nails.

I even painted a Christmas head on the bunny tatoo which turned out very cute

Yay! So I decided to add a little bit of something to this post

First of all, I’d like to tell you all that Snoopy made it to The Daily Bunny a few days ago with his adorable sleeping photo. You can see the photo here Hubby thought it would be fun if we stuck some carot pieces into Snoopy’s wooden ball. We give the ball to him and off he took with it behind the table. Here is a photo of him with his wooden ball:

I also finished a pair of socks, that will be Christmas gifts – so I have 2 out of 10 socks done (or 1 out of 5 pairs). I hope I will be able to finish the ones that will go to the US in middle of October, but hubby, bunny and I will be moving in the next few months, so I must hurry … anyway, here is the photo (more like a teaser )

As usual, once I am happy with my at least one of them will break and I will have to file them short. This time was no exception. I got to keep the rectangle shape but they’re shorter – and not so nice in shape as they were. Can’t wait until they’re longer again and I can file a nicer shape. Here is a picture of how nice they looked in blue with white stickers – which sadly lasted only 20 hours – before I had to shorten everything:

I did not get to do a lot with my plants lately and I must admit that I did call some of them. However, I can proudly say that my Vanilla plant is doing very well and growing fast. I did a little climbing triangle for it to grow even higher

Nail Art – French in white with Butterfly stickers 13/08/2011

Today I did my nails again. I decided upon a french manicure done with a white nail art pen. It was incredible easy and looks way better than with any of those French stencils, which are always screwy for me.  Here are the pics:

Nail Art – French with stickers 31/07/2011

I thought I would start a new category – about nail art. I love doing my nails.

Here is a photo of today’s nail art. It is a simple clear white base coat, clear blue tips French Style and some nail art stickers I bought on Saturday. I really like how the sticker look like, they’re very nice and easy to get on. Once everything was dry, I added two coats of Sealing Top Coat. Now let the bets begin how long it will last …
