Furballs and Yarnballs

Wow, I am a horrible blogger :-( Life is just so busy between work, organizing to “get rid off” our old place and organizing the new one. It’s crazy.

I started going to this wonderful local yarn store once a week in the afternoon for the knit afternoon. It’s very neat and everyone is extremely friendly. I am very happy to have found such a lovely place and look forward going every Thursday.

I also have a happy dance to celebrate. My Milo socks are done. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. They’re so pretty and fit perfectly :)

So, my Woodland Trails is all dried and done. Before I show you the finished product, I have to share the following one with you:

Snoopy and the Woodland Trails

Snoopy just had to sit next to my wet, finished project. Maybe he did enjoy the smell of green apple that the new Ravelry SOAK has – who knows. He was a good bun and only looked at it.

I started a new,  smaller project to accompany my Central Park Hoodie. It’s a pattern called Woodland Trails which can be worn in three different ways. It’s pretty neat. I decided to make mine out of left over yarn I had from my Rogue cardi.

Today I came home from work to two sweet envelops.

One came all the way from Denmark. Snoopy is going to be thrilled :) Thanks to Mickey for the lovely surprise :-)

The other one came from Sweden. Thanks to Lillemor for the wonderful smelling lavender tea :)

Snoopy seems to really enjoy living in our new place. We put his tent into a corner where some power outlets are – hoping that will keep him away from the danger. It also had the cute side effect of him finally hanging out in his tent again.

Did you know that I am spinning? Well, I do. Not as much as I’d like to, but now that we’re moved and have all our stuff together I decided it’s time to spin something.

I picked the 100% superwash merino dyed by Crazy Monkey Creations. It’s so soft and cozy I hope the yarn will be just like the roving.

It might be turned into Woodland Trails, if they’re both agreeing :)

You might have noticed that there were no posts in the last few months – and that had a good reason. The bunner, the hubby and me relocated :-) We’re very happy to be back in our favorite town :-)

Snoopy is really happy to have a home again as he can now sit on the couch and walk around everywhere.

I name this one Gargoyle Bunny

So, expect to hear and see more from Snoopy and me now :-D
